Grace was the perfect daughter. A child from a high class Muslim family she got perfect grades, was obedient to her parent’s wishes nearly to the point of slavery, strong in her faith, and the envy of their friends and neighbors. Until one day when her father arrives home and informs Grace that without her consent or knowledge he has made what he feels is a perfect match for her, an arranged marriage with a handsome young man who will benefit the whole family.For the first time in her life Grace says “No”, holding on to the right to choose who and how she loves.
